The Professional Women of St. Tammany holds several annual events to empower our members, raise funds to support our scholarship recipients, to be distributed to deserving nonprofits in our community. These events take dedication and planning, all lovingly executed by board members and committees who volunteer their time for the chosen event. Each event supports our community and raises awareness of the Professional Women of St. Tammany and its deserving recipients throughout the year.

Women's Choice Awards
An annual luncheon honoring local women who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business and personal lives. This award recognizes deserving St. Tammany Parish women who excel in their profession and who contribute to our Parish’s present success and future development. The community is asked for nominations and a committee reviews and selects the winners.
Annual Retreat
Each year PWST hosts a retreat for members and guests to network. The retreat offers an educational and empowerment experience where members can flourish. It’s a fun filled day of seminars, local shops, prizes, lunch and more! Sponsorships help support the efforts, and media abounds for lots of local PR.
Annual Scholarship Awards
Professional Women of St. Tammany strives to empower women in our community in many ways, but we are most proud of the number and amount of scholarships that we have awarded to deserving women since 2009. We award scholarships to deserving women in St. Tammany Parish who seek to further their education. While financial needs are an important factor in our evaluations, our scholarship committee also looks for women who have pushed through challenges, distinguished themselves by their actions, or otherwise found ways to be a positive force in their own right. Grades as well as activities and accomplishments are considered. The significant talents and hours given by our members and our sponsors to make these education scholarship dollars available is our organization’s small way of recognizing the extraordinary females among us and helping them reach better tomorrows through education.
