Alexa Poole, an Ohio-born, but (adopted) Louisiana native, has a loving husband, two kids, and a pup. She’s family-oriented with a long-lived passion for helping people. Holding a degree in Nutrition Education, along with additional training in Mindful Movement and Health Coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and NASM, Alexa skillfully guides her community in enhancing their lives and diets. She creates a personalized “roadmap to health” for each individual, tailored to their unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals, enabling them to lead a life less burdened by weight concerns and find a balance between wellness and daily life.

With nearly 20 years dedicated to learning and applying life tools, Alexa has navigated her own challenges, including sexual assault, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, anxiety, and depression, in a healthy and constructive manner. In her journey, she discovered her profound purpose: empowering her community by changing attitudes and beliefs to live more joyfully and peacefully through nutrition and lifestyle changes. Her success with clients in achieving physical, emotional, and mental wellness is a testament to her expertise and compassion.

Alexa’s love for people is evident in her role as a Health Coach with the Council on Aging of St. Tammany, where she spreads joy and provides counseling on enriching life in the golden years. Her efforts have been recognized with a Certificate of Excellence from Healthier Northshore, honoring her continued commitment to positively impacting health outcomes on the Northshore.
