Carrie H. Calvin, CPA, is an Audit Director at Bourgeois Bennett CPAs & Consultants and director of their Covington location. Carrie earned her Accounting degree and Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University. Carrie is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Society of Louisiana CPA’s, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance and the Professional Women of St. Tammany. Her industry specializations include healthcare, retail, maritime and employee benefit plans. Carrie is currently serving on the finance committee of the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce and has previously served on the finance committee of the United Way of Southeast Louisiana as well as their audit committee.

Carrie is actively involved in her community. She is a graduate of the Leadership Northshore Class of 2016 and currently serves on their Board of Trustees as the Vice Chair and the co-project coordinator. She is the President and Founder of the Friends of Slidell Police Foundation. Carrie is the Vice President and co-founder of the Steel Mimosas as well as the East St. Tammany Business Alliance. Carrie is a member and past president of the Rotary club of Slidell Northshore. She currently serves on the Board of Commissioners of The Harbor Center. She also serves on the Board of Directors for The St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce. In 2019, she was appointed and served on President Mike Coopers Transition Team as well as his 100 Day committee. Carrie was named as one of the Junior Achievement and City Business Empower 2020 mentors. Carrie was the the recipient of the 2018 Young Athenian Award. She was also named the alumni of the year of Leadership Slidell Northshore for 2017. In 2016, she received the Citizen Service Award from the Slidell Police Department along with a certificate of appreciation from the City of Slidell for her service to the community.
