After moving to the Louisiana Northshore, Debbie began her 14-year tenure at North Oaks Health System, working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Occupational Health and Urgent Care. She has played an integral role in the Occupational Health Clinic, assisting injured Workers Compensation patients in returning to work safely and swiftly.

Prior to moving to Mandeville, Debbie graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following her graduation, she completed a one-year volunteer program as an RN at a Birth Center in Weslaco, Texas. She then pursued a Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University, eventually returning to the university to work as a Nurse Practitioner at their student health center for 7 years.

In addition to precepting Nurse Practitioner students, Debbie is actively involved in her local community. Her volunteering efforts include participation in the Fontainebleau High School football Special Events Committee, clean-up days, wrestling tournaments, and Project Graduation. She also contributes to hurricane relief efforts through Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the French Quarter Fest Children’s Tent.

Debbie resides in Mandeville with her husband and their two high school-aged boys. As their biggest supporter, she loves cheering them on at sporting events. Additionally, Debbie promotes health and wellness in the community by participating in local road races.
