Jordan Weinberger is a Board-Certified Integrative Healing Practitioner, volunteer patient
advocate, and founder of Double Helix Integrative Health. Everything she does is rooted in a
genuine commitment to helping and serving others, so no one has to navigate illness, loss,
or struggle alone.

Jordan is no stranger to hardship. From an early age, she spent years in children’s hospitals
and underwent multiple surgeries that shaped both her health and her outlook on life. As
an adult, she survived years of domestic abuse and, through it all, remained in school. She
was then faced with another tragedy when hurricane damage and toxic mold exposure
forced her into unstable living conditions, including tents and trailers. As her health
declined during that time, she experienced severe muscle wasting that left her unable to
walk and weighing just 95 pounds, ultimately requiring a feeding tube and inpatient
physical therapy. Most recently, Jordan experienced the heartbreaking loss of her daughter,
Mary Gene Frank. Despite experiencing more pain and suffering than many would deem
fair, Jordan never allowed it to harden her. She takes that pain and turns it into drive—a
drive to help others—while continuing to find meaning and joy along the way. Much of her
time is spent volunteering as a patient advocate, helping individuals and families navigate
complex medical systems, hospital stays, insurance barriers, finding the right doctors, and
scheduling appointments. She also stands with individuals navigating domestic abuse,
helping them find resources, plan next steps, and begin healing after leaving unsafe
situations.

Through her own experience with water-damaged buildings and mold toxicity, Jordan’s
advocacy expanded to supporting others facing similar challenges. She has spent years
compiling and maintaining a vetted list of trusted inspectors, remediators, building
scientists, physicians, and integrative practitioners. These resources are shared freely so
others do not waste time, money, or energy navigating this process. She created the
Louisiana Toxic Mold Support Group on Facebook so no one would have to feel alone while
navigating mold-related illness, and to educate families on the proper way to address mold
both in the home and in the body. Through this group, Jordan has helped hundreds of
families affected by mold. Navigating mold and chronic illness places enormous stress on
the body, mind, and finances, and Jordan is often a steady presence for those at their
breaking point.

Her advocacy extends beyond mold. Jordan became EDS ECHO certified to support
individuals with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a condition she also lives with. Having lived
decades without answers herself, she is deeply committed to spreading awareness,
emphasizing early detection, encouraging appropriate genetic testing, and helping others
recognize signs sooner so they can access appropriate care. This same philosophy carries
into her professional work at Double Helix Integrative Health, where Jordan takes a
science-driven, highly individualized approach to uncovering root causes rather than
managing symptoms alone. She analyzes genetic variants, known as SNPs, alongside
functional lab testing and personal history. Her philosophy is simple and intentional: we
test, we don’t guess, because your treatment protocol should be as unique as your DNA.
When she is not in school, working, or advocating for others, Jordan spends her time in the
kitchen and on her farm learning new skills as a first-generation homesteader,
homeschooling her amazing teenage son, and building a life with her fiancé, her best friend
since high school.
