Julia became a patent attorney in 2007. She is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in patent cases. She is also licensed (though inactive) in Utah. Her law practice is limited to patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and related intellectual property matters and agreements. Her firm primarily helps inventors, companies, universities, and organizations obtain patents, register trademarks and copyrights, and license and litigate patents, trademarks, and copyrights, in the US and other countries. She can help you assess the types of intellectual property that you or your business have, and your intellectual property needs by conducting an intellectual property survey of your business. She can also help prepare confidentiality agreements, assignments and license agreements relating to your intellectual property. Freedom to operate evaluations can also be prepared for intellectual property owners that are interested in launching a new product or brand and want to evaluate whether they would infringe the rights of others. Infringement evaluations can also be prepared for intellectual property owners that think a competitor is infringing their rights.
