Hi, I’m Sierra Zeringue, the proud founder and baker behind Sugar Love Bakery. My mission is simple: to spread love, one sweet treat at a time. What started in my mother’s kitchen has grown into a local favorite, where we believe that everything we create—whether it’s a wedding cake, a pie, or a king cake—is made with love and care.

My journey as a baker began 16 years ago, creating custom cakes while staying home with my daughter. As she entered pre-K, I had a big decision to make: return to the workforce or take a leap and pursue my dream of turning baking into a business. With faith and a lot of determination, I opened Sugar Love Bakery—and I never looked back. Along the way, I invented the King Cake on a Stick, which has since become a beloved Mardi Gras tradition here on the Northshore, and I proudly opened a second location in Picayune, MS to share our sweet treats with even more people.

Life took a beautiful turn when I married my wonderful husband, Jeff. Together, we’ve built a beautiful blended family with our daughter and son, who inspire me daily. My family is at the heart of everything I do, from my work in the kitchen to my commitment to our community. Their support has been a constant throughout the ups and downs of growing this business.

Sugar Love Bakery isn’t just about baking—it’s about creating lasting memories for people. Over the last decade, we’ve become known for our mouthwatering king cakes, pies, and festive treats, and I am honored that our bakery has been recognized with awards like Best Bakery in East St. Tammany Parish. What drives me every day is the joy of seeing people’s faces light up when they take their first bite.

Thank you for your support, and for allowing me to be a part of life’s sweetest moments. I am so grateful for every customer, every team member, and every opportunity to share my love of baking with this community.
