Professional Women of St. Tammany strives to empower women in our community in many ways, and we are most proud of the number and amount of scholarships we have awarded women since 2009. We award scholarships to deserving women in St. Tammany Parish seeking to further their education. Our scholarship committee looks for women who have pushed through challenges, distinguished themselves by their actions, or otherwise found ways to be a positive force in their own ways. Grades as well as activities and accomplishments are also considered. The significant talents and hours given by our members and our sponsors to make these education scholarship dollars available is our organization’s small way of recognizing the extraordinary among us and helping them reach better tomorrows through education.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be entering or currently enrolled in a college or continuing education program for 2026.
- Not eligible if you were awarded a PWST scholarship in 2025.
Required Documentation
- Application
- Current school transcript (high school, college, graduate school, etc)
- Proof of registration (acceptance letter or fee bill)
- Applicant essay (300 words or less- see last page of application for essay question)
- Two (2) recommendation forms along with two (2) written recommendation letters (teacher, principal, guidance counselor, coach, community leader, etc)
This completed scholarship application and all required documents must be received in ONE pdf file (File name should be applicant’s name) OR in ONE envelope, by 5pm on March 13, 2026.
Note: Your application will not be considered complete unless all of the required information is received on time. It is the responsibility of the applicant, together with her references and school records office, to ensure timely completion and submission of this application packet.
