Anna Zimmer is the founder and owner of Middle C Music, the leading in-home music education program serving the Northshore and Southshore, with a full-service studio location in Covington, Louisiana. Established in 2019 in Colorado under its original name, Little Chopin’s Music Lessons, the company has since evolved and expanded its operations exclusively in Louisiana while maintaining its original mission and educational approach.

Zimmer is a classically trained flutist, having studied Flute Performance at Berklee College of Music and The Boston Conservatory, and further refined her training through private studies in Paris, France. Her classical foundation strongly informs the structure, discipline, and musical standards emphasized throughout Middle C Music’s programs.

Since its founding, Middle C Music has grown significantly, serving thousands of students through a combination of in-home instruction and studio-based programming. The company offers private lessons across multiple instruments, group classes, performance workshops, school break camps, and community-centered events. Under Zimmer’s leadership, Middle C Music has developed a reputation for high-quality instruction, strong teacher mentorship, and meaningful performance opportunities for students of all ages.

Zimmer is widely known for her hands-on approach to music education and for leading a team of professional instructors with clarity, empathy, and high expectations. Middle C Music is committed to inclusive instruction and has experience working with students across a wide range of learning styles and abilities, including individuals on the autism spectrum and those living with dementia.

In addition to her professional work, Zimmer is a mother of two daughters and balances entrepreneurship with family life. She brings intention, structure, and compassion to both her home and her studio, believing that music education should be accessible, supportive, and transformative.

Through Middle C Music, Anna Zimmer continues to advocate for the arts as an essential part of education and community life, and remains dedicated to helping students build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong connection to music.
